Swami Vivekananda Speech at Chicago 1893 (English)


Swami Vivekanand, a well known Indian Hindu monk was born on 12th January 1863. He was the chief disciple of Saint Ramakrishna (19th century). He has played a major part in the introduction of Indian Philosophies of Vedas to the Western World. He was also best known for his inspiring speech, which allowed him to introduce Hinduism at the Parliament of the World's Religions at Chicago in 1893.
